Jackite changed the standard for fiberglass poles in three ways. They were reinforced in the butt section so it would not split, the wall thickness was increased for less breakage, and the poles have a thicker tip. Jackite does not recommend using the Jackite birds or poles in winds over 20 mph. Do not fly kites/windsock near power lines or obstacles.
